GM Defense (2024-07-23)

The Canadian Armed Forces will soon use light tactical vehicles (LTVs) from GM Defense Canada, a subsidiary of GM Defense. The business announced yesterday a contract award for C$35.8M from the Canadian Armed Forces for up to 110 LTVs. Intended for NATO’s Multinational Battle Group Latvia, these powerful LTVs are based on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, featuring parts like Chevrolet Performance components for enhanced off-road capability. Built on a proven design used within the U.S. Army, these vehicles are optimized to carry personnel, transport combat supplies and empower soldiers with the speed, range, and endurance to navigate complex terrains.
